Earlier this year, our team was tapped to support a major international billiards tournament at the Orange County Convention Center. The timeline? Just three days from setup to showtime — with broadcast deadlines, live audiences, and zero room for error.

The Challenge: Pressure, Static, and Unforgiving Timelines
The center display wrapped around the main competition table, where players and referees often leaned against the structure. Combined with the dry Los Angeles weather, static buildup became a real threat — causing IC chip failures on LED modules.
To make matters more complex, we also faced intermittent blackouts caused by unstable HDMI cables — a known risk during high-profile events where every second counts.
