Recently, PMT Solutions Group completed the installation and commissioning of an outdoor LED display for a golf club. The project required an unexpected on-site frame modification, but our installation team resolved the issue and delivered a clean, professionally finished display.
The Project
The golf club needed a reliable outdoor LED screen that could deliver clear and vibrant content throughout the day.

The Installation Process
Our technicians began by inspecting the installation location and verifying the supporting structure, power connections, data routing, and LED cabinet layout.
The installation included:
Inspecting the factory-manufactured frame
Verifying the frame dimensions and mounting points
Installing and aligning the LED cabinets
Connecting power and signal cables
Confirming weather-resistant connections
Configuring the processor and receiving cards
Testing brightness and image performance

The Challenge
The primary challenge was that the factory-manufactured frame was not built correctly.
The frame dimensions and mounting positions did not properly match the LED cabinets. If we had installed the screen without correcting the frame, the cabinets would not have aligned correctly, and the finished display could have had visible gaps, uneven surfaces, or structural mounting problems.
Because the issue was discovered during installation, waiting for the factory to manufacture and ship a replacement frame would have delayed the entire project.
The Solution
Our team evaluated the frame on-site and determined how it needed to be modified to accommodate the LED cabinets correctly.
We adjusted the existing frame at the job site to:
Correct the mounting positions
Improve structural alignment
Match the LED cabinet dimensions
Create consistent cabinet spacing
Ensure the screen surface remained flat and even
Maintain a secure and professional installation
After modifying the frame, we installed and carefully aligned the LED cabinets. The adjustments allowed the display to fit properly without waiting for a replacement structure.
The Result
The outdoor LED screen was successfully installed, configured, and commissioned.
After the on-site frame modification, the cabinets aligned correctly, the display surface appeared smooth and even, and the completed installation looked clean and professional.
