P1.25mm COB LED technology is an excellent choice for universities and educational environments. Its fine pixel pitch, durable surface, seamless appearance, and excellent close-viewing performance make it ideal for classrooms, presentation spaces, and interactive learning applications.

In July, PMT Solutions Group completed the installation and commissioning of two interactive P1.25mm COB LED wrap-around corner displays and one television at a university. The entire project was completed by two technicians in two days.

The Project

For this project, PMT Solutions Group was responsible for installing, configuring, and commissioning the complete display system.

The project included:

Two interactive P1.25mm COB LED wrap-around corner displays
One additional television
LED mounting and cabinet alignment
Power and data connections
Control-system configuration
Interactive-system setup
Display testing and final commissioning

The wrap-around corner design created a more immersive visual experience while maximizing the available wall space. Because the displays would be viewed at close range, the P1.25mm pixel pitch provided detailed images with a smooth, seamless appearance.

The Installation Process

Our two-person installation team completed the project in two days.

The work included:

Inspecting and preparing the installation areas
Confirming screen positions and mounting points
Installing the LED mounting structures
Mounting and aligning the P1.25mm COB LED cabinets
Aligning the cabinets around the wall corners
Connecting power and data cables
Installing the television
Configuring the LED control systems
Setting up and testing the interactive functions
Performing final alignment, image testing, and commissioning

Each cabinet was carefully adjusted to create a clean and continuous image across the corner.

The Challenge

The primary challenge was that the actual wall dimensions did not perfectly match the original project measurements.

Even a small dimensional difference can affect the finished appearance of a wrap-around corner LED display. It can create uneven cabinet depth, visible gaps, or alignment problems where the two sides of the screen meet.

Because the discrepancy was discovered during installation, our team needed to develop an on-site solution without significantly delaying the project.

The Solution

We purchased additional parts and adapted the mounting arrangement to accommodate the actual wall dimensions.

These adjustments allowed us to:

Correct the mounting depth
Improve cabinet alignment
Minimize visible gaps
Maintain the wrap-around corner design
Create a smooth and visually even display surface
Deliver a clean, professionally finished installation

After the adjustments were completed, the LED cabinets appeared flat, properly aligned, and seamlessly integrated around the corners.

The Result

Despite the unexpected difference in the wall dimensions, PMT Solutions Group successfully completed the installation and commissioning within two days using a two-person team.

The completed system included two interactive P1.25mm COB LED wrap-around corner displays and one television. We tested the systems for image quality, cabinet alignment, signal stability, control-system performance, and interactive functionality.

The customer was very satisfied with the appearance and performance of the completed installation.
